Biographies of Biotta’s Suppliers

Decades of experience in organic vegetable farming, dedication, enthusiasm and a love of detail distinguish the organic farmers who farm for Biotta. They harvest each and every carrot, beet root, potato or celeriac from the best tended, most fertile soil, in order to give legendary Biotta juices their unique, aromatic and natural flavor.

Situated on the southern edge of the Lake of Constance, pampered and well protected from the elements, this fertile region is the home of Biotta's juice production plant and also the source of the majority of the organic vegetables used by Biotta. That means a short and direct journey from the field to the glass bottle. That calls for perfect timing. As a rule, the seasonal fresh harvest must be processed within a few hours of harvesting.

Biotta strives for a Fair Trade relationship with their organic farmers. The company stands behind organic farming and is a responsible customer of producers who work with and are personally acquainted with the farming contracts. These long-term partnerships are respected and cared for. And Biotta puts a special emphasis on paying a fair price for valuable natural products. For Biotta, Fair Trade begins right outside their own front door in Taegerwilen (Thurgau).
