The Swiss organic pioneer

Biotta is the Swiss organic pioneer in naturally pure fruit and vegetable juices. For Biotta, the highest, uncompromising standards have been second nature for over 50 years. Back then, there were no organic guidelines, seals of approval or certifications. But there was the organic pioneer, Dr. Hugo Brandenberger. His success story began with his renowned mission statement:

"We want to promote good health and vitality, using organic products of the highest quality."<b/>

Today's demands for organic products and the trend towards wellness and health clearly show just how innovative and far-thinking Biotta's founder was. In addition to health and vitality, great flavor and refreshment are equally high priorities in product development today.
The deciding steps in Biotta's success story:

1951

1931, Gemüsebau AG, Taegerwilen is founded.

1957

1951, the production is switched over to organic cultivation and is one of the first organic companies in Switzerland.

1961

1957, organic carrot juice is the first Biotta juice ever is pressedm bottled and introduced into stores.

2005

1961, Dr. Hugo Brandenberger takes over the juice production. As a pioneer, he is convinced of the future of organic farming. For over 40 years, he continued to successfully develop organic cultivation, juice production and a growing range of fruit and vegetble juices.

2010

2005, Dr. Hugo Brandenberger expressed his search for an ideal successor for his juice company to the regional Swiss drink manufacturer Thurella AG , that Biotta be integriert as a subsidiary.

Today

Organic products are here to stay and have captured a remarkable share of the market. With its unerring faith in organic production methods, Biotta has acquired a high degree of competence in all matters concerning the cultivation, processing and marketing of organic vegetables and juices.
